Young Hands for the Environment; Let's Go CleanUp!
It is my duty as an adult leader to produce scouts that have concern for the environment, be aware of the negative result of improper waste management, and inspire other students to do so.
The project was implemented in my school where 800 plus students are enrolled. I chose 10 scouts to do the project and let them see by the parents to encourage that scouting has countable activities for society and for the student as well, I also scheduled the project on where their fellow students see them doing the project, to motivate them and give them an idea of having concern to the school, community, and environment.
I believe that the impacts on the whole studentry were marked, the awareness to the environment, the idea of scouting and most of all is their part to the society. Many students joined the scouting in the school. Parents were encouraged too to support the School-Based Scouting movement.
As the adult leader, I learned that exposing the children to an environmental activity helps them to be a responsible citizens in the cocommunity
