YLCCC - Just Energy Transition
Just Energy Transition is a global campaign aimed at reducing dependence on coal and other high-carbon energy sources. In Subang, West Java, IBEKA a local organization has established a hydroelectric power plant in the village. Through this initiative, I have gained valuable insights into adopting a lifestyle that prioritizes using available resources while significantly minimizing carbon emissions.
I gathered 60 young individuals from a diverse range of educational and professional backgrounds to collectively learn how to plan a program that can be effectively implemented and sustained over time. The primary focus of this initiative is on renewable energy and environmental conservation programs.
In this program, I serve as a mentor, and through this experience, I have learned how to collaborate with various institutions and individuals with diverse educational backgrounds. Our goal is to create a healthier planet by utilizing clean and environmentally friendly energy sources.
