Winter Clothing Distribution Drive 2025

The core motive of this project was Empathy in Action. As winter approached, we recognized that while we were protected in our homes, many in our community lacked the basic necessity of warm clothing. Our goal was to bridge this gap by personally ensuring that no one in our immediate vicinity had to suffer through the cold. We wanted to move beyond theory and perform a "Good Turn" that provided immediate, physical comfort to those in need.

We executed the project by following these steps Collection: Every member of our group contributed by donating clothes from their own homes or collecting them from parents and relatives. Some members also provided funds to purchase additional items. Sorting & Delivery: On the project day, 13 Scouts sorted the items and spent 4 hours distributing them directly to rickshaw pullers, street children, and elderly people across the area

Direct Aid: 80 pieces of high-quality winter wear reached those in need, providing protection and health safety for the entire season.

Inspiration: We demonstrated the Scout movement's commitment to community welfare, inspiring others to help those in need.

We learned that when an entire group works together some donating and some distributing we can achieve a massive impact with very few external resources. It taught us the true value of resourcefulness and community spirit.
