The Gardening Project started on 1st June . The first three days were spent on clearing, ploughing by a tractor and dumping of soil on the garden locations. 4th of June that was on Saturday, the whole day was spent on digging up the plots with help of first Drasa Scouters. From 6th June till date all the classes have spent 30 minutes on planting, watering, weeding, harvesting and replanting. The project helps the children both mentally and physically and assist with the schools wellness program. The gardens are monitored and the harvest is sold at a reasonable price. The garden produce is healthy and uses no fertilizer. This helps the community to be free from harmful chemicals and lead a healthy lifestyle.
