Un libro un sueño

I like reading. Books have been a safe place for me for half my life. It's made me happy and it's given me hope. I wanted to be able to give that opportunity for kids who's school doesn't have a library. I can't imagine how my life would have turned out if I didn't love reading, and I wanted to make that experience true for other people.
Someone else started this project and I replicated it by receiving donated books from everyone we knew, and then creating a library for a school that didn't have one. Finally, we painted small murals inside said library with book covers, to encourage the children to read, making it fun for them and motivating.
Books are important because education is. It helps us develop our brains, imagination, and it opens another dimension of what we can see from the world. It makes us smart, independent, and it helps us understand how the world functions. But sometimes we need encouragement, and I have happy to help create that. I learned that having people to rely on during a project is necessary because they're who help you keep going when things get difficult.
