Tree Adoption and Care by Scouts

I was inspired to start this project to encourage Scouts to develop a sense of responsibility towards nature and the environment. The project aimed to promote tree conservation, environmental awareness, and active community participation by adopting and caring for trees.
I coordinated with the Scouts to identify and adopt trees within the school premises. The Scouts planted and labelled the trees, watered them regularly, protected them from damage, and monitored their growth. They also encouraged others to understand the importance of protecting and caring for trees.
I learned that protecting and caring for trees requires commitment, teamwork, and responsibility. The project taught me the importance of environmental stewardship and inspired me to encourage Scouts to take greater responsibility for protecting nature.
