Tears of Life Beneath the Ocean

As a Huge Wild & Marine Life Entusiassit, I was devastated to see the after-effects of the Express Pearl Ship Recking Incident. I together with my fellow Rover Scouts wanted to support and minimise the damage caused by it towards the betterment of society.
We started with an Awareness Webinar followed by A Littler Blitz & Plastic Foot Print Calculator for Scouts. Further our main project the Beach Clean-Ups in partner with “Clean Ocean Force” gave us the outlet to take this project to next level. During our cleanup, we were able to collect and properly dispose of over 30Kg of plastic which includes Yogurt Cups, Bottles Milk & Juice Boxes etc.
Our Rovers have been an inspiration to many youngsters to work towards reducing plastic waste in beaches. The awareness has helped many to change their habit to a more sustainable manner. While our clean-ups have helped the community around and the marine and other species surrounding the beach.
When following this in future we hope to gather more people to this action by contacting and partnering with other organizations for support.
