SWACHH BHARAT CLEANLINESS DRIVE
Our project was inspired by the need to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and community participation. We wanted to encourage students and volunteers to actively contribute to society through practical service. The Swachh Bharat Mission motivated us to take action, create awareness about proper waste management, and inspire others to maintain clean, healthy, and sustainable surroundings.
We executed the project in coordination with the Thirumudivakkam Entrepreneurs SIDCO Phase II Association (TESPA) members. The TESPA members guided and supported us in identifying the activity area and organizing the cleanliness drive. Students and volunteers actively participated in cleaning activities, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging community responsibility through teamwork and service.
Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, coordination, and community service. We understood that maintaining a clean environment requires active participation and shared responsibility. Working with TESPA members helped us develop communication and organizational skills. The activity also increased our awareness of proper waste management, environmental protection, civic responsibility, and the importance of contributing positively to society.
