SW Voluntary Service Project: WalkSide by Rovs Project - Let's Get Hammered 2!

Happy 61st Independence Day, Malaysia! It is 31st August, which is an Independence Day for Malaysia. As a Malaysian, I am really grateful that I am living in a multiracial country peacefully. And today, we will continue constructing our sidewalk with more design and better quality of cement mixture. We delegated our task among our team member so that we can work efficiently and effectively today as we have a shorter time today because Muslim team member will be going to Friday Prayer. Tasks that was delegated to our team members are including moving the sand and tools nearer to the water source, sorting the bottle caps according to the colours, making the frame for the sidewalk, arranging the bottle caps on the cement mixture, and hammered the bottle caps to secure it. The task is not only for a particular group as we are practicing a job rotation on that day so that all of us are having the same experience during completing this project from A to Z. During arranging the bottle caps on the cement mixture, Mr Rahimi, WPKL MoP State Coordinator visited our project site and see our progression for this project. The work took us shorter time than before as the we have more workforce for today. Overall, we are satisfied with our project as it is really beneficial for the community at Datuk Keramat. By constructing this sidewalk, we can see that they can easily go to the LRT station with a proper road. Even though our project at Datuk Keramat is already completed, we are going to continues this project at different location to help the community to have a better life and increasing their facility.
