26th August 2018 is an another special date for me as I can meet my SWA team. Today, we are going to construct our sidewalk located at Datuk Keramat with another 16 Rovers Scout in my team. For your information, our project site located very near to Embassy of Federal Republic of Somalia and Dato Keramat LRT Station. Thus, it is really easy to find even though it is our first time going here. Before constructing our sidewalk, we decided to clean the site from rocks, tall grass, and any debris at the construction area by using a shovel and hoe. Then we built a wood frame by using a lumber to ensure that our site walk is perfectly done as planned (uniform thickness and width). After that, we mixed the cement with the sand at the ratio of 2 to 1 (2 cement : 1 sand). After the cement is poured in the wood frame, we arranged the bottle caps on the cement and hammered it into the cement mixture so that the bottle caps is secured in place. The work took us around 8 hours to be completed, which is started around 9.00am and ended at 8.00pm.
