1.As part our Scouting,our troop conducted an HIV/AIDS ,MALARIA awareness programme for six months from 01-08-2016 to 31-01-2017 at CMS NAGAR ,EDAPAZHINJI,THIRUVANANTHAPURAM.Prior to starting the programme,we have met the DMO and Kerala AIds control society officials to collect the pamphlets and to prepare a questionnare for surveying.In the survey it was found that majority of the residence are aware about HIV/AIDS disease.However our awareness campaign brings in more people aware about HIV/AIDS ,MALARIA and other dangerous diseases and modes of precautions to be taken to avoid the disease. 2.As part of the Environmental Sustainability Project, our troop carried out a campaign meeting at CSM Nagar Resident's Association Area,Edapazhinji,Trivandrum.The resident's association president and members co-operated with us to complete the programme.We distributed seeds of jackfruit and tamarind trees and planted mango saplings and some other plants
