Sustainable alternatives for plastic bags
I live in a small country, yet we face significant environmental challenges, like litter harming and endangering our biodiversity. My biggest motivation is to change the mindset of my country and move it towards a more sustainable future.
We did this through comprehensive and intensive training programs targeted at the youth, consistently emphasizing and reminding them of the core essence and purpose of the project.
In addition, we carried out a variety of community-based activities, actively involving local residents to foster a sense of collective responsibility and engagement while promoting sustainable practices and strengthening community bonds.
I learned that having a smaller project team often leads to a more efficient workflow and better collaboration. I also came to realize that many people are unaware of the significant impact plastic and waste have on society and the environment.
