Small Acts, Big Impact: Scouts Transform Tsimalakha Through Community Service
Driven by the Bhutanese value of Ley Jumdrey, the Scouts of Tsimalakha MSS are motivated to protect our pristine environment. We believe that small, selfless actions foster deep civic responsibility. By cleaning our community, we honor our role as stewards of the Earth, transforming "Service Beyond Self" into a visible, sparkling reality for our school and neighbors.
The Scouts of Tsimalakha MSS executes a high-impact cleaning campaign. The project is divided into three strategic phases to ensure maximum efficiency and community resonance. The scouts cleaned Tsimalakha and Alubari market, drainage lines, and school periphery. On execution day, classes were assigned a specific zone. Collected plastics wastes are collected for sale and others are stored and sent to municipal for proper disposal.
we discovered that as Scouts, our small actions can inspire the whole community to take pride in keeping Tsimalakha clean and beautiful for everyone.
