"Small Act, Big Wings"
“Parinde Me Pani Bharna” was inspired by the need to help birds survive extreme summer heat. Started by SRD Foundation, the project aims to provide water to thirsty birds by placing and regularly refilling clay pots and bird feeders, especially in public spaces. It’s a simple yet powerful act of compassion towards voiceless creatures.
The “Parinde Me Pani Bharna” project was executed by placing water pots in public and shaded areas like parks, rooftops, and temples. Volunteers regularly filled these pots with clean water, especially during summer. Local communities and youth were involved to ensure consistent care and awareness for bird welfare.
Through the "Parinde Mein Pani Bharna" project, I learned the importance of compassion for all living beings and how small efforts can make a big difference in their survival, especially during harsh weather. I realized the value of teamwork and community involvement in creating a larger impact. It also taught me responsibility, regular maintenance, and consistency in ensuring birds always have access to water.
