Seed Distribution in Madhupur
While participating in the 1st Regional Scout Adventure Camp of Dhaka Region, we were deeply inspired by the activities focused on environmental protection and community service. As part of the camp, when we visited the Madhupur area and observed the lifestyle of the indigenous community, we realized that tree plantation is essential for their sustainable development. This inspiration from the camp and a sense of social responsibility motivated me to initiate this seed distribution project.
During the adventure camp, we organized a seed distribution project in the indigenous areas of Madhupur. With the support of my unit leader and fellow scouts, I collected and distributed various fruit and forest tree seeds among local families. I also motivated them about the importance of reforestation for environmental balance. I successfully completed the entire project following the Scout Promise and Law
Through this project, I learned the importance of community engagement and the vital role of trees in maintaining environmental balance. I also improved my leadership and communication skills by interacting with the indigenous community. Most importantly, I realized how small initiatives can bring positive changes to people's lives and their mindset toward nature
