Scout Spirit of Sharing on Diwali Festival
The inspiration for this project came from the spirit of Diwali — the festival of joy and sharing. Seeing underprivileged people unable to celebrate, I felt motivated to spread happiness by distributing sweets. As a Scout, it taught me the value of kindness, equality, and serving humanity, supporting SDG 1 – No Poverty and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities.
We executed the project by organizing a small Diwali drive to share sweets with underprivileged families in our community. With the support of Scouts, we collected sweets and distributed them to needy people, spreading happiness and the true spirit of Diwali — joy, sharing, and kindness. This activity supported SDG 1 – No Poverty and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities.
Through this project, we learned the value of sharing, compassion, and community service. It taught us that even small acts of kindness can bring happiness to others and create a sense of unity. We also understood the true spirit of Diwali — spreading light and joy to everyone.
