Scout-Led Community Plastic Recycling, Gardening

As a scout, I wanted to make a positive impact in my village where plastic waste is common. Inspired by global sustainability efforts, I aimed to show that small actions can make a difference. My goal was to raise awareness about recycling and transform plastic waste into something useful, while connecting with nature through home gardening.

I led the project in several steps. First, I organized an awareness campaign about plastic waste and climate change. We then collected plastic waste door-to-door. In a workshop, we creatively transformed the waste into flower pots using simple recycling methods. Each participant took their pot home to create their own garden. Together, we promoted environmental protection.

I learned that community engagement is key to environmental initiatives. The enthusiasm of the youth showed that awareness can drive positive change. Creativity in recycling turns problems into opportunities. Every small action counts, and collectively, we can protect our planet.
