THE 1021 Cub Scout Pack of the Kampong Mata-Mata Primary School in Gadong Cluster 1 organised an ‘Amal Jalinan Kasih’ charity event  for the less fortunate families in Kampong Sengkarai, Tutong.

According to Hajah Nor Rahmat binti Sidin, leader of the 1021 Cub Scout Pack, the programme is an annual activity for the Cub Scouts, particularly during the holy month of Ramadhan.

During the event, some five families received donations in the form of basic necessities donated by members of the Kampong Mata-Mata Primary School’s 1021 Cub Scout Pack.

Also present yesterday were Haji Mumin bin Rajak, the Acting Penghulu of Mukim Pekan Tutong and Village Head of Kampong Sengkarai; Haji Md Salleh bin Haji Ahmad, Scout Commissioner for the Welfare, Community and Environment Section; and ACP (Rtd) Haji Murad bin Haji Abdul Hadi, Acting Scout Commissioner of the Tutong District.
