“Say No to Single-Use Plastic: Act for Climate”
Our motivation is to create awareness among students and communities about the harmful impact of single-use plastic on our environment and encourage practical, sustainable alternatives. Through this project, I aim to inspire young people to adopt responsible lifestyles, reduce plastic consumption, and become active contributors to climate action
Organized an interactive workshop under YLACC and Mission LiFE using PPT presentations, videos, and group discussions. Scouts and Guides learned about the environmental impact of single-use plastic and its alternatives. Participants actively shared ideas and discussed practical steps to reduce plastic use in daily life.
The project helped us understand the harmful impact of single-use plastic on the environment and the importance of sustainable habits. We learned that awareness, teamwork, and youth participation can encourage communities to reduce plastic use and adopt eco-friendly alternatives.
