Reduce usage of plastic awareness
I was inspired to do this project because plastic bags are harmful to the environment and create pollution. I wanted to do something useful to spread awareness and encourage people to use eco-friendly alternatives. By making paper bags from old newspapers and distributing them to shopkeepers and people, my group and I tried to reduce the use of plastic and promote recycling.
To execute this project, my group and I first collected old newspapers and other required materials. We then made paper bags of different sizes by folding and pasting them carefully. After preparing the bags, we visited nearby shops and also distributed them to people on the roads. Along with giving the paper bags, we explained the harmful effects of plastic and encouraged them to use paper bags instead.
Through this project, I learned the importance of protecting the environment by reducing the use of plastic. I also learned how small efforts like making and distributing paper bags can create awareness in society. This project taught me teamwork, responsibility, creativity, and the value of recycling for a cleaner and greener future.
