Ration distribution in rural areas during lockdown
In lockdown lots of people mostly lost their job. The rural area residents were mostly affected by it. They didn't had any job to take care of their family and they were not even sure what will they get to eat tomorrow. To help those people and to ease their problems we took this project to give them some relief from this situation.
We decided to distribute ration to those families who were in trouble through this whole pandemic and lockdown situation. We got help from two other NGOs, they helped us to execute this project successfully. We went to Sandeshkhali and distribute ration to 300 families in that locality.
The impact of this project was very positive, as the people were very happy to get those helps from us. And after our work more scout groups showed interest and also took over this kind of projects and distributed ration to these rural areas.
We learned in how much problem these peoples were, and how they were spending their days in uncertainty. We had a chance to stand by these peoples and to help them though it was a little help but it made them happy for that particular moment.
