Ramadan Food Drive 2026

The main reason for this project was to practice the Scout promise of helping other people at all times. During Ramadan, many people like rickshaw pullers and the homeless work very hard all day while fasting, but they often don't have enough money to buy a good meal for Iftar. We wanted to share our happiness and food with them. We also wanted to show that if we all work together and care for our neighbors, we can make our community a better place.

Raising Money: More than 80 people from our Scout group gave money. Donations were between 100 taka and 2,000 taka. Preparation: We bought 120 packets of chicken biryani. The food came in big bags of 20, so our team of 20 scouts divided them into smaller parts to make them easy to carry. Distribution: We formed small teams and went to different places like Sector 4, and nearby streets to give the food to people in need.

The 110 people felt happy and respected because they received a good meal. It also made our Scout group stronger because we worked together for a good cause

We learned that even a small amount of money (like 100 taka) can help someone a lot if many people give together. We also learned how to plan a team and work fast to finish the distribution before the Iftar time
