On 27/10/2018, a colorful and memorable Rally was organized in our s MAHARISHI VIDYA MANDIR SR. SECONDARY SCHOOL-MADURAI   regarding reducing the usage of PLASTIC. This event was organized for 2 hours from morning 10:00am-12:00pm. More than 40 rovers and 80 school students effectively participated in the rally.

The grand rally commenced from Koodalnagar bus stand and was carried along to the way to our school in Kovilpappakudi. The rally was up to 3 kilometers from Koodalnagar. The scouts effectively participated in the rally by spreading the harmful effects of using plastic and dumping plastic in grounds, among the people who came across them. They spread the message by giving pamphlets to people during the rally. And the rovers roared all the way along their way to the school. The rovers roared regarding disadvantages of using plastic in form of quotes. This whole segment was carried out very effectively by sticking the pamphlets in many shops. And after reaching the school the students were served with tasty beverages as reward for their effort in spreading awareness among people. And the rally was finally completed by 12:00pm.

We really enjoyed a lot and dispersed with a sincere hope that we had spread our seeds of making our earth beautiful by doing a rally regarding reducing the usage of  plastic..
