Railway Staff Emergency Response Training

Working in the railway electrical environment, especially with 25kV MEMU coaches, I observed significant risks in daily operations where even minor lapses can lead to serious accidents. I realized that although staff are technically skilled, many lack formal training in first aid, rescue techniques, and CPR, which is critical for effective response during high-voltage emergencies.
The training was conducted on-site using live demonstrations and a mock emergency scenario to teach rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR. Staff actively participated for hands-on learning, with focus on safety in 25kV environments and quick response. The session concluded with feedback, improving confidence and emergency preparedness.
The project highlighted the gap in emergency response skills and the importance of hands-on training. It reinforced that quick, correct action and personal safety are crucial in 25kV environments, while also improving staff confidence to act effectively during emergencies.
