Railway Passenger Service Programme
We were engaged in railway passenger service for 3 days in the morning, afternoon and night during Eid. Bangladesh Scouts, Sylhet Railway District took the initiative of this activity. 50 scouts, rover volunteers and senior leaders participated from different units of Bangladesh Scouts, Sylhet Railway District.
We were tasked with ticket checking, security, providing information, finding seats for passengers, security at informed entry and working with the rover scout sense of responsibility. Rover Scout is able to prevent many people from knowingly entering the platform with fake tickets. Railway police and TT brothers worked with the scouts.
As a result of our work various problems of railway passengers were solved. Checked the tickets of the passengers and seated them in their seats and gave them information and helped them get their luggage on the train. At our work, there was a smile on the faces of the passengers heading home on Eid.
