We have all heard about Mother’s Day and Father’s Day but Did you know that there is also a Parent’s Day which fall on the every last week of July in every Year. In this year it was celebrated on 24 th July 2016. Parent day is acclaimed as official National holiday since 1994 and is fully Dedicates to all the Parents. The Parents are the Backbone of our Scouting Movement,without their support there will be never Progress of Childrens..so the idea of Celebrating the day in Scouting, Sprang up from the mind of Our O.C.G's Scout Masters. At the first time,we the Officers' Colony Scout Troop,Kanchrapara District Association,Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides celebrated the Parents Day with Great Manner on 24th July,2016.During the celebration Scouts presented various Activities like Welcome Dance by Adoring their Parents,Group Song,Game Activities,Play Acting,Closing Programme(Touchy Performance) & atlast Refreshment.We are happy to share with you all that our Aim Is fulfilled, to More Strong the Love & Affection between Parents & Children.We are thankful to all Group Members-Cubs,Bulbuls,Scouts,Guides,Rovers,Rangers,Beloved Adult Leaders,District Official,Our Backbone Mr. & Mrs. Bhawal,Mr. Sen for their wonderful support to us..
