Plastic-Free Step: Recycling for a Clean Tomorrow.
I started this project after noticing plastic waste polluting my surroundings and its harmful effects on the environment and living beings. As a Rover Scout, I felt responsible to take action and raise awareness about reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic.
The goal of my project was to promote a cleaner environment and encourage small steps toward a greener future.
I planned my project by identifying areas affected by plastic waste. Then I conducted awareness activities about reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic.
I also carried out a small clean-up activity on my own and collected plastic waste from nearby areas. Additionally, I encouraged local people to avoid single-use plastic and adopt eco-friendly habits.
Through this project, I learned how harmful plastic waste is to the environment and how small actions can make a difference. I understood the importance of personal responsibility in keeping surroundings clean.
I also learned the value of awareness in changing people’s behavior and the importance of consistent effort to create a positive environmental impact.
