Plant a tree, make our Earth risk-free.
The ecosystem encompasses all living creatures on this planet- a component of life whether they reside on land or in water. The environment administers myriad natural cycles that occur in everyday life. These cycles help maintain the environmental integrity between living things and their surroundings. Disruption of these elements can destabilize people's and other living creatures' life cycles. Notwithstanding, the impact of the environment on humanity, we still exploited the ecosystem.
This project was conducted last July 4, 2021, at a barangay Mabini in Cabanatuan, wherein we planted trees in places where it was barren of trees. Moreover, with the help of my fellow scouts, we planted over 40 trees.
Across the world, trees contribute to controlling the water cycle. Trees and other plants absorb rain before it evaporates back into the atmosphere. Mabini is known for having floods during heavy rains. Thus the trees we planted can help reduce the cause of floods in their area. Moreover, since the trees we planted are fruit-bearing, the citizens who reside in Mabini will benefit immensely as it can be their food source.
We conducted this project to help our deteriorating ecosystem. Various forces such as the sun's intensity, volcanic eruption, and anthropogenic activities lead the ecosystem to suffer such crisis. Climate change is REAL; it is not a myth. This project seeks to raise awareness about environmental changes while also enabling the next generation to demand climate justice.
