PCE Rover's role in Jamboree
First of all the project itself is a National Program which was crucial. Our club (PCE Rover), Club adviser Mr. Tempa Gyeltshen and Coordinator Mr. Sangay Tobden's initiative and leadership helped us contribute to the preparation of program.
We divided ourselves among 4 different groups to volunteer simultaneously for more than 2 weeks. We were of 65 of us and I was leading our team to cut grass and beautify the area across the scout center. Other than that we did weeding, transportation of furniture, sweeping, carrying of pebble, painting, and setting of sub-camp for the participants.
I learned that scouting is one mean to work together collaboratively from where ever we are. Volunteers from schools and colleges worked in a team and could complete all the tasks in time.
