One Scout, One Tree: Action Against Climate Crisis

The climate crisis has become an inseparable part of modern life on Earth, one aspect of which is related to global warming. Of course, to save the Earth from this, action is needed to prevent further increases in greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere. One way to do this is by planting trees, which can naturally absorb and process carbon dioxide.

This project coincided with the 30th ATAS Indonesia Inauguration and Gathering at Bumi Perkemahan Ragunan. The committee provided one tree for each participant to plant locally and at their residence. Participants were divided into groups and directed to designated planting locations.

Through this project, I learned to care about the current climate situation. The climate crisis is primarily caused by humans, so we, especially as Scouts, should play a role in addressing this situation. These small actions can have a big impact if done consistently.
