National scout day, paro / PCE
It was his majesty the kings 57th birth anniversary and I was in the marchpast troop. The morning was quite difficult but there was more of excitement in me. I dressed up smartly in my scout leadership uniform and attached my 5th batch dogtag took me no more than 15 mins. The program began with the speech by the chief guest. It was followed by marchpast and cultural programs. The afternoon gradually subsided to evening followed by the night with gleaming lights. Where leaders of paro volunteered in crowd controlling and pitching tent and serving refreshment to the students. As I went to bed nothing but satisfaction, happiness, loyalty and patriotism filled my heart. It was the soldier inside.
