Recently the scouts at 1st Grovedale have completed their Messengers of Peace. For this, they conducted a clothing and shoe drive. All the items were then sent back to the organisation for distribution in less privileged areas in Asia. The scouts achieved this by getting in touch with an organisation called Mondo. Mondo is a clothing recycling company where their motto is ' Give your clothing a second life'.

The scouts all worked hard to spread the message of peace and getting family and neighbours involved to donate unwanted clothing to the drive. Well done Grovedale!
