A Legacy of Trees, A Promise of Future
A total of 121 Scouts from Pampanga Council have participated on the project entitled, “A Legacy of Trees, A Promise of Future: Sta. Ana Eco-Park Beautification,” on October 18, 2025 at Sta. Rita Eco-Park, Pampanga.
The main purpose of this project is to promote a better and greener environment in order to reduce flood risk and soil erosion—in order to have a sustainable environment. Moreover, the project aims to enhance the ecological health and aesthetic appeal of the said eco-park.
With that being stated, in this project, the scouts have conducted a clean-up drive as well as tree-planting activities where they have planted more than 300 trees and cleaned a one kilometer long area.
“Attending my first tree planting event with the Senior and Rover Scouts was so much fun because you could really feel everyone helping each other to save Mother Earth. What I learned is that simply planting even one tree makes a huge difference for our environment.” -Jasmine
With the accomplishment and learnings that the scouts garnered along the way, it proves that this activity is more than just about the beautification of the eco-park; it also serves as a reminder that simple actions create big impact.
