Grow Kindness through Scout Law Tree
Scouting is a learning activity that has important values for elementary school students. However, not all teachers understand the values of scouting and organizational management. In addition, strengthening scouting values is also important for students, especially strengthening the scout law and promise. Therefore, with the principal, this project was created.
This project was implemented in Tompi Bugis, Sigi, Central Sulawesi province. The target of the activity is students and teachers. Activities included introducing Scout Law for students, creating Scout Law trees, and strengthening scouting values and organizations for teachers and school principals.
I learned a lot from this project. Students with different backgrounds, such as different ethnicities, religions, and languages, they have the same understanding that as Scouts it is important to apply the values of goodness. Through this project, a dialogue for peace has been built which increase students' awareness that differences are not a barrier to doing good for each other.
