Go Green, Learn Clean!

Scouts assessed the designated garden area and prepared planting plots using eco-friendly methods. They practiced soil conditioning, waste segregation, and land clearing without harmful chemicals, applying green skills related to resource efficiency, environmental care, and sustainable land management.
Participants planted passion fruit vines and organic seedlings using natural fertilizers and proper spacing techniques. Scouts learned hands-on skills in organic gardening, plant propagation, and water conservation, strengthening their understanding of sustainable food production.
The collective efforts of the Wangan NHS Scouts, under the guidance of their Outfit Advisors, promoted collaboration, leadership, and accountability while enhancing practical green skills. This initiative not only strengthened the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program but also reinforced the Scouts’ commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly climate action and responsible consumption. #Scouts #ScoutsforSDG #GreenRising
