Seeing families hungry, people who had come from other countries with no ability to work or ask for state assistance. 

This was an ongoing commitment to deliver food to local families who are suffering from food poverty, often through problems associated with being non-national or through financial hardship. There is no end date in place.

Food is delivered 3 times a week depending on supermarket availability.  Each food collection can be distributed to up to 7 or more families.  A joint project is run each Christmas to deliver food and toys to up to 100 families.

This is facilitated by food donations from local schools and charities as well as Lidl supermarket who work with the Irish Food Cloud to ensure that food is distributed rather than binned.
