The need to protect the environment is greatly increasing year by year. We celebrate the Environmental day yearly by planting trees and totally forgetting about it afterwards . So we wanted to bring about a change in that perspective . For the planning of the programme a crew meeting was held on 10th april 2018 (Tuesday) , in the crew meeting it was decided that each Rover and Ranger should plant and nurture atlest 5 or more plants. We collected plants locally from our places and planted it the very next day. We watered it and provided it with required care needed care. We Rovers and Rangers started our work on 3rd of may 2018 (Thursday) . The work started out a bit hard beacause the huge heep of wastes which were liying around the pond and the hard soil. The plants needed for the project was carefully grown In the homes of all our Rover and Rangers and was well taken care and was brought On the day of planting. Our enthusiastic and self determined team went through all the challages and worked really hard from dawn to dusk for about 2 weeks to finish the work in time . The main focus we kept was to enlighten the people around us and give a good message to the society. And to make them notice that we "The upcoming Generation" care about the future and to make them to think that they also could do this and be a part of a new change. We were successfully able to clear out the area and make the place ready for planting .
