Ensure Environmental Sustainability & combat HIV ,malaria and other diseases

The scout unit of SJBHSS Nedumkkunnam has proudly done their community development project regarding the major issue , ensuring the environmental sustainability & combat HIV ,malaria and other diseases.The each scout of the unit has done the project individually on different area which helped them to extent their activities on a vast area.The project includes the surveys taken on different houses regarding the environmental problems which they are facing and also regarding the environmental perspective of the house members . The survey acted as a ground level mechanism for collecting knowledge about the area which they are handling and also acted as a good medium for proper awareness

Even though the project included surveys and awareness programs ,it doesn't had a white collar manner. The scouts entered into the roots of the society and did a great job by planting trees and cleaning the public places and teaching how to be environment friendly.Through this project the scouts were able to understand about various diseases and the ways which they can be spread and also how they can be eliminated from the society.Those knowledge were given to the society is also a remarkable thing.

The scouts were honoured by the villagers and also by the school for their courageous service and hard work.The project helped the society to understand the motives and motto of the scouts.Its a privilege for the SJBHSS Nedumkkunnam to congratulate the scouts for their extraordinary service and to portray those in the world scout forum for other's inspiration
