Distribution of Towels for Heat Protection

In scorching heat, Bangladesh faces severe dehydration, making it costly for us to travel on the roads. Some people, even in such extreme heat, rely on rickshaws for their livelihoods. Our endeavor was to stand by these people during the heat, and from that intention, we planned to distribute towels to them. With towels, they can shield their heads from the sun and soak them to cool down their bodies.
We received funding for this project from our scout group, Crystal Open Scouts. With the funds, we planned to distribute 100 towels on the first day's activities, aided by our senior scout members. Upon receiving these towels, those in need will find solace, even momentarily, amidst the heat, providing them with a sense of peace amid the chaos. We strive to distribute them with care and gratitude, alhamdulillah
The main motto of the Rover Scouts is service. As a Girl in Rover, my desire was to dedicate my time to good deeds, so that through my work, another person could be helped. With the support of senior Rover brothers and Girl in Rover friends, I assisted in the background of this project. Through this project, I aimed to introduce something good: serving those outside in the heat is a national duty, and any work that brings a bit of peace to them brings them joy.
