Dengue Prevention 2023: An Awareness Drive
Cleanliness is the single most effective way to prevent dengue. By maintaining a clean environment and eliminating stagnant water, we can destroy mosquito breeding grounds and stop the spread of the disease. A collective effort to prioritize cleanliness in our homes and communities is the only path to a dengue-free country.
On September 12, 2023, the Daffodil International University Air Rover Scout Group took the initiative to launch a “Dengue Prevention Awareness Campaign” on and around the university campus. We went to various areas to educate and raise awareness among the public about how to prevent dengue.
Even as the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, Bangladesh faces another serious health crisis: a major dengue outbreak. The number of patients is rising daily, making it a nationwide epidemic. In response, members of the Daffodil International University Air Rover Scout Group launched a "Dengue Prevention Public Awareness Campaign" on September 12 to educate the public on how to combat the disease.
