Creating stress free learning environment

The insight session was designed to help students understand the importance of mental health and maintaining a stress-free environment. As many students face academic pressure and stress from their results, the session aimed to encourage open discussion and provide practical ways to manage stress, relax the mind, and improve productivity and well-being.
In the context of Nepal, the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), often known as the “Iron Gate of the Future,” was about to begin, making SEE students the primary target group for the insight session. A counselling psychologist and the Founder and Director of was invited as the keynote speaker. He conducted an interactive one-and-a-half-hour session on stress-free learning, mental well-being, and effective ways to manage academic pressure and improve productivity.
Throughout the project, I learned that many students face serious mental pressure due to examinations and academic expectations, which affects both their well-being and productivity. I realized that students need safe spaces to openly discuss these challenges and seek guidance. I also learned that mental health awareness sessions are highly important and should be conducted more often in schools to help students manage stress and support their well-being.
