COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OUR VOCATION
It was alarming to see that students were studying in an establishment where the fence and even the enclosure were damaged. our motivation was then whipped up by this.
firstly the goal was to re-paint the fence and donate cleaning materials. therefore with the help of the students of this school and of us scouts, we bought paint and our leaders helped us in the mixture because they are half organic products. so we were able to redo the painting of the school fence with various uses of brushes and we also made signs.
I learned from this project that community action is a good way to have a positive impact on the community by including non-Scout people.
