Cleanups of Taman Pramuka - Scout Service Month

This project was undertaken as a form of participation in Scout Service Month. As part of society, we, as Scouts, must be role models for others, raising awareness of environmental protection through responsible management of the waste generated in our daily activities.

This project involved bringing together Garuda Scouts and prospective Garuda Scouts from Central Jakarta who were willing to collaborate. All participants were instructed to bring their own trash bags and plastic gloves. In a coordinated manner, each small group cleaned a specific area. The collected trash was then collected and disposed of in a temporary waste disposal site.

Through this project, I learned that small, consistent actions can have a significant impact on the surrounding community. This activity not only serves to fulfill one of our roles as Scouts to care for the environment, but also builds community awareness to do the same in the future.
