Clean Stream
"Where we live must be clean, safe, organized and beautiful, for national integrity, national pride, and for our bright future. This too is nation building". HM Jigme Khesar Namgay Wangchuck.
We aimed to clean the Woochu stream (About 2.5 km) with class 4-8 students and 50 teachers to create awareness on how water is important on this mother earth. Interestingly, local people too joined us to participate and create awareness.
Around 2000 plus people are benefited from this program and local government of Woochu will over take the program and adapt the stream as it flows between their villages.
We cloud sense how people are managing their own waste and how they care the nature.
