We went to Mv/ madduma bandara vidyalaya for our project . we reached there at about 9.45 am in the in the morning. That school is not very big. They was egally waiting for us.They welcomed us with thier small band. Our project was to collect gifts for them.so we put all the gifts into the boxes and we carry those presents to them.The place where the school was situated is a high place. We can watch the temple of the tooth relic. From that place. We can watch the whole Kandy city by standing there. There are only few students in that school. Actually the amount of students who standing in that school are lower than 30. It's a mixed school .We kept the presents on the school stage all the parents, students and also the teachers were standing in that hall. That students were very happy looking the gifts. At first ,one students from that school delivered a speech. After that the leader of our group got the opportunity to dliver our Ideas. First of all, he thanked them for giving that opportunity to him. He explained the way that we collect the presents. And also at the same time he thanked us also. He appreciated all of us for our dedication towards this project. Next MrsE.P.padma ekanayaka the principle of that school addressed the gathering. She appreciated us. And she thanked us a lot she told that we are a good example for the whole country. All the same time she mentioned that It’s a pleasure to meet the students like us. She ended the speech. By wishing us for our future . After that we invited the principal of that school and Mrs Helan pinto who is our teacher in charge of scouts to deliver the gifts. After that we presented the gifts to the primary and the secondary students . The children were so impressed by receiving those gifts . We presents stationary such as books , pencils equipments ansd bats , balls to do sports and we did not forget to presents instruments [musical] So as I think that must be the happiest day in their lives. After that we made theme happy by saying a action song. After that program we ended by saying the national anthem
