"Building a waste disposal pit"
Our Inspiration:
We noticed that poor waste management in Sinhaati Bazaar was causing pollution and health problems. As Scouts, we felt it was our duty to take action. Inspired by the motto "Scouting is Serving Humanity", we built a waste pit to keep the area clean and help our community.
We discussed the waste problem in our Scout team and visited Sinhaati Bazaar to see it ourselves. With local help, we chose a good spot for the waste pit.
We gathered materials like bamboo, bricks, and cement. Our team divided the work and built the pit step by step, making sure to stay safe.
After finishing, we informed local people about using and caring for the pit to keep the area clean.
From this project, we learned the importance of teamwork and planning to solve community problems. We understood how proper waste management can improve health and the environment. We also realized that involving local people is key to making such projects successful and sustainable.
