BASIC AND ADVANCED COURSE TRAINING APRIL 2024
The motivation can associated with the growth and development of scouting in the Bangalore South District Region. It was additionally inclined towards maximising the scouting footprint through robust training programmes and channelising the energy of adult leaders towards capacity building in specific for the overall benefaction of young people and towards creating a better world.
The Bangalore South District Association hosted a comprehensive Scouting training program at Dr. Annie Besant Park in Doddaballapur, from April 15th to 22nd, 2024. The program offered two distinct tracks: Basic and Advanced. The total staff were 30 members and the total beneficiaries were 200 people. The same was executed with the unparalleled support of trained volunteers. By combining these courses, the Bangalore South District Association offered a well-rounded training experience, empowering both new and seasoned leaders to create enriching scouting programs.
Participants were honed with essential skills like knots and lashes, first aid, fire safety, and outdoor navigation. Teamwork and leadership development were also emphasised through engaging activities. This foundational course equipped aspiring Scout leaders with the knowledge and confidence to guide younger participants. It delved deeper into leadership principles, program planning for Scout troops, and effective communication with young scouts.
