Awareness and Clean Campaign

"Our project was inspired by the need to create a cleaner and healthier environment while observing World Environment Day 2026. We wanted to encourage students and community members to take responsibility for protecting nature and reducing pollution. Through awareness and mass cleaning activities, we aimed to promote climate action and community service under the theme 'Climate Action Starts With Us.'"

A total of 384 students and 42 teachers and staff participated in an Awareness and Mass Cleaning Campaign on 4 June 2026. The four Scout Troops, Jigme, Khesar, Namgyel, and Wangchuck, visited nearby villages to promote environmental awareness and conduct cleaning activities. The project supported the theme "Climate Action Starts With Us" and encouraged community participation in creating a cleaner and greener environment.

We learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and community service through this project. The activity helped us understand how small actions can contribute to environmental protection and climate action. We also gained valuable experience in raising awareness and encouraging people to keep their surroundings clean and healthy.
