Ai & Digital Scout Club
The project was inspired by the growing importance of AI and digital technology in education and everyday life. We recognized the need to equip young people with practical digital skills, critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to use AI safely and responsibly. Through Scouting’s learning-by-doing approach, we aim to create opportunities for young people to explore technology, develop innovative solutions, and use their knowledge to address challenges in their schools and communities.
We implemented the project through AI and digital skills training, practical workshops, and AI & Digital Scout Clubs. Scouts learned AI basics, digital tools, prompt engineering, and online safety. Through hands-on activities and teamwork, they developed creative solutions to school and community challenges while promoting responsible technology use and sustainable partnerships.
We learned that practical, hands-on activities are effective in helping young people understand AI and digital technology. Teamwork, peer learning, and guidance from Scout leaders encourage creativity and problem-solving. We also learned the importance of responsible AI use, online safety, and strong partnerships among schools and technology organizations to ensure the project’s sustainability and long-term community impact.
