Adventure scouting day in Bernburg

The idea of planning and organising the Scouting Days in Bernburg was born out of the desire to promote scouting in a region where it is hardly known. Bernburg, a town in Saxony-Anhalt, currently has only a few scout groups and the hobby of scouting is still relatively unknown here. With the Scouting Days, we wanted to help change this and make scouting more visible locally.
The scouting days in Bernburg were organised in close cooperation with the local scout group, consisting of around eight dedicated team members. The team met regularly to coordinate the planning and allocate tasks. Through targeted advertising in the local media, we were able to draw the attention of many children and families to the event. Two successful days with a varied programme took place at the beginning of August, which attracted many new members to the scout movement.
From the scout days in Bernburg, we learnt how important it is to have experienced scouts who can pass on their knowledge. Once again, we learnt on site how we can complement each other well as a team thanks to our different knowledge and skills.
